Mum? What does that word mean? Does it refer to love?

If someone of us asks himself what did my mother do for me? Why God instructed us to give our mothers the most respect ever? Will he be able to have answers for these questions?
If we try to count our mums doings when were still babies,
She was feeding us, washing us, washing our dirt, making every thing for us.
When we became younger, what does she do if someone
of us be sick, she wakes all the night next to us and be worried. And how does she feel if someone of us has a problem she tries her best to solve this problem and wishes that we never go through this pain again.
So how does it important to each one of you to respect and love and obey his mother? And feel the feelings of the people who lose their mothers?
